The enchantment continues....

With nine stories—five of which have never before been published—and an exclusive never-before-seen excerpt from Marissa Meyer’s upcoming novel, Heartless, about the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, Stars Above is essential for fans of the bestselling and beloved Lunar Chronicles.

My Review

Stars Above is a short story collection from the Lunar Chronicles universe. It has nine stories in it. Some of these stories were originally published at the back of Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress. Others were completely new.

Seven of the short stories are prequels about our favorite character: Cinder, Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, Thorne, Winter, and Jacin. One of the stories retells The Little Mermaid and one is an epilogue to Winter.

Basically, these short stories are great and I loved them. They give us more backstory and then the epilogue we’ve all been waiting for.

Were you as sad as I was that The Lunar Chronicles is really over now?

  1. I kind of really enjoy novellas or short collections of stories because even though they are cruel and you have to buy them separately they give you so much insight! Glad this was worth the read for you Amanda 😀

    • This was definitely a collection to give more insight. I really enjoyed seeing these characters again and I can’t believe the series is really over.

      Thanks for stopping by!
