As I had mentioned previously, I decided to enter the Books ‘n’ Bloggers Swap that just happened. I was so excited when I got my boxes in the mail from Sofi @ The Rainbow Bookshelf. I am so very happy that she was my partner as she got me some pretty awesome books and stuff.
First I received this wonderful box of goodies. I received tea, socks that had bears wearing glasses, kitty treats, kitty toys, eos lip balm, a journal, and gel pens. I love it all!
My cat was excited as well because there were kitty treats and toys in it! She also totally adores boxes and they make the best toys sometimes.
Then I got the books. Sofi had written up little cards for each book which was super cute.
For a book that Sofi loves, she sent me Pope Benedict’s The Infancy Narratives. I have been wanting to read this one for awhile and am very excited to have a copy. It will make a wonderful read during Advent this year. (I also totally loved the Game of Thrones graphic.)
For a book that Sofi hasn’t read but is interested in, she sent me In This House of Brede by Rumer Godden. I have heard quite a bit about this book but had never read it. Which is actually surprising given the number of times it was references when I was with the Sisters. I am excited to read this one.
For a book from my wishlist, Sofi sent me TWO books. The fourth and fifth books of the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan: The Battle of the Labyrinth and The Last Olympian. I’ll be able to finish the series now!
I am so happy with everything Sofi sent me and cannot believe I received such awesome stuff. Sofi was a wonderful partner.
