I was blessed to have a school vacation day happen to fall the day after I got this book at the library. So I read the entire book that day though I highly doubt my students did any reading at all.
The story centers around Grace who had once been attacked by wolves and Sam, the wolf who saved her.
I really like this different take on werewolves. It kept me interested and turning the pages. I just could not put this book down.
As the story went on, Isabel kind of grew on me. Maybe I just love backstories but I would love to know more about Isabel and even Olivia as well.
Grace reminds me an awful lot of myself. She would rather spend a day curled up with a book than do something with her school friends. I hear her loud and clear with that.
Sam has a lot going on. He has a past that has a rather large impact on his life. To add to that, he’s struggling with the whole wolf thing. He is a character who could have been seriously messed up but he manages to hold it together, for the most part.
I had been debating this book for sometime and just decided to pick it up at the library. I am so glad that I did. It was a totally surprising read in a good way.
