Synopsis

Harry Potter is lucky to reach the age of thirteen, since he has already survived the murderous attacks of the feared Dark Lord on more than one occasion. But his hopes for a quiet term concentrating on Quidditch are dashed when a maniacal mass-murderer escapes from Azkaban, pursued by the soul-sucking Dementors who guard the prison. It's assumed that Hogwarts is the safest place for Harry to be. But is it a coincidence that he can feel eyes watching him in the dark, and should he be taking Professor Trelawney's ghoulish predictions seriously?

My Review

Instead of a regular review for this wonderful book from an amazing series, I’m going to list all of the great things I would do with my very own hippogriff.

1. Take Care of Enemies

First of all, I don’t really have any enemies. However, if I did, my hippogriff could totally take them on just like Buckbeak took on Draco. It would all be, “Hello there. If you dare insult me, my friendly hippogriff here will severely injure you. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

2. Air Transportation

I would never have to pay for air travel again. I would only need to ensure thick enough clothing so that I would not freeze in the air. This might even be possible for transatlantic flights. If I remember correctly from the following books, Buckbeak totally flew somewhere tropical. Just saying, travel by hippogriff would be way more fun than commercial airlines.

3. Sheer Awesomeness Factor

I would own my own hippogriff! That would be totally awesome! I would own a magical beast and I would be so excited to show everyone how awesome I am.

So there are the three epic things I would use my hippogriff for. If you happen to know where I can acquire a hippogriff, please let me know. Also, let me know in the comments what you would do if you had a hippogriff (If you already have a hippogriff, HOW DO I GET ONE?!).

amanda

What would you do with a hippogriff of your very own? (And how do I get one?)
