It has been a crazy month and a half! I will share some of my summer camp experience here but most will wait until it’s own post with pictures!
Things that Happened in June & July
- As you may recall from a previous post, I spent the summer working at a great Catholic summer camp. I really want to talk a lot about that but I promise I will post more with pictures later.
- I survived 6 weeks without much cell phone service or internet. It was really great for me.
- I also read things that I wanted to read rather than what I needed to read based on review copies and such.

Things I’m Looking Forward to in August
- I am really looking forward to relaxing for about a week and a half until the school year start up. I know that, after my summer, I need a bit of time to readjust to the real world.
- The school year starts! That is an exciting prospect and a bit scary. I am excited that the incoming fifth graders are a great class and it is also scary that this summer has gone by so fast.
- I am also looking forward to getting caught up on posting my reviews to Goodreads/Amazon. I think I have about 20 that I have to post thanks to my being gone most of the summer.

Thank you!
I hope you have a great August.
How do you get those little lists when you click on the “+” signs? I took my reading challenge progress bars off my basic template because they took up so much space and would love to have another option.

I use a WordPress plug in called Shortcodes Ultimate. This gives me a number of shortcodes that I use all the time. The one that hides my challenge progress until clicked is a spoiler. If you are using WordPress, I would highly recommend it. If you aren’t, I’m sure there is some css coding that could get similar results.
I hope your weekend was great! Thanks for visiting.
