Things that Happened in June
- I spent a weekend at Glacier National Park. I kind of sort of love it there. It is beautiful. If you haven’t gone, you definitely should!
- I attended my friend’s wedding in California. My sister came with me and we had a blast.
- I’ve been doing quite a bit of prep for the upcoming school year. I can’t believe June is over already! Only a month and a half until I am back in the classroom.
- I did not reread any books this month. Wow! I am pretty sure that is a first this year.
- I messed with my blog fonts last weekend (and updated my About Me page). I ended up changing up the fonts (both headers and body text) and simplifying my header. My design itself hadn’t changed since last October. Please let me know what you think about the changes! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Below is the screenshot I took last October after my last design update:

- Before WYD, a friend is going to be visiting me! I like visitors but they don’t happen too often since I live in the middle of nowhere, Montana.
- I have some things I want to work on for next school year (both teaching and studenting this time).

Sounds like you’ve had a great month! I hope you enjoy your trip! 🙂
Thank you. It has been hard trying to pack for three weeks with only a carry-on.
I hope you have a fabulous rest of the week!
Glacier National Park sounds like one heck of a trip!! Lovely pics!!
I loved Delirium… but so many of those book you read I want to read too!
Happy July!
Thank you for stopping by!
I had a lot of fun at Glacier. I only live a few hours away and we try to go at least once or twice a year. It is one of my favorite National Parks.
I hope you have a wonderful end of the week and weekend!
I’d never heard of Glacier National Park but sign up! It sounds like a great trip! I have Ruined but still haven’t read it. I probably should. I hope you enjoyed Six of Crows! It was slow for me but still quite enjoyable 🙂
How did you do the challenge progress box thing? It looks like a great idea and definitely doesn’t take much space.
Glacier National Park is an amazing National Park in northwestern Montana. It is one of my absolute favorite places in the state.
I definitely recommend Ruined. IT WAS AMAZING! As for Six of Crows, parts were a bit slow but I did still like it.
For the challenge progress box I use a free WordPress plugin called Shortcodes Ultimate. I used the tabs on a vertical setting for this box. I hate taking up all the space listing the challenge progress would take otherwise.
Thanks for stopping by, Genesis, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
Sounds like you had a pretty fun June! I did quite a bit, which is exciting. There tends to be more going on around the city in the summertime because the weather is USUALLY good, except for these random summer storms. All the places you are going to in July sound awesome! I’d love to visit Germany someday.

Sorry I am so late in responding to my comments.
Summer storms can be so strange. We had a strange one blow through a couple of days ago that made me want to get out my phone and video it.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!
