Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly link-up hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.
This week’s list is Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors. I don’t really have very many auto-buy authors. I tend to read the back cover so I at least have an idea of what I’m buying. I don’t always like everything an author writes. However, these are some exceptions to that rule. 🙂
1. Kristen Britain
Some of my favorite books ever were written by Kristen Britain. I adore the Green Rider series and can’t wait for the next book.
2. Tamora Pierce
Just because I own every book she’s ever written, she has to make this list. I love the Circle of Magic universe books the best.
3. Marissa Meyer
I LOVE the Lunar Chronicles to pieces. Just pure awesome-ness.
4. Pope Francis
He is awesome, he writes wonderfully, and he’s the Pope. What is there not to like about this situation? I don’t have everything he’s ever written but, someday, I hope to be able to say that I do.
5. Thomas Dubay
I have read almost everything this man has ever written. I only own one book of his and someday I hope to own them all. He’s rather old now (in his 90s?) so I don’t think he’ll be writing much more.

I regretfully admit I haven’t read anything by Tamora Pierce, but I saw her quite a few times today which has revived my desire to do so. Great list this week!

Oh oh Marissa Meyer is TOTALLY one of my auto-buy authors! 😀 I’m so so excited for when she does an Alice in Wonderland retelling. Aaaand of course Winter and the upcoming short stories. Basically anything she writes = I WANT TO READ. XD

I just got the Lunar chronicles back from my friend that I lent them too (having never actually read them myself) so I am very excited to finally get started on them 🙂 I have a feeling that Marissa Meyer will very quickly become an auto buy author for me.
